EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Everyone is welcome at Community Church of the Open Door, period! You do not need to be a member to attend, enjoy fellowship, join a small group, or participate in many of our ministries. If you are interested in becoming a formal member of our church body, you can learn everything you’ll want to know by going through Next Steps.
Sunday Worship Services
Our Sunday worship service is a servant ministry with folks who willingly minister to the corporate gathering as musicians, worship leaders, teachers, greeters, technicians, etc.
This is a safe and caring environment for infants through age 3. Nursery is available during both of our Sunday Morning Worship services.
A “Mother’s Room” is available in the back of the worship center, if needed. Please knock quietly if door is closed.
Children Preschool through 6th Grade are invited to join us upstairs for the opening and then collectively go downstairs to the classrooms for a small group environment. After the Sunday service we encourage you to pick your children up and join us back upstairs for coffee from Mission Cafè and a time of fellowship.
This course is designed to clearly explain who we are, what we believe, and how we can become more effective members of Christ’s family and influential servants in our community. Here is where you will also learn about our Dream Teams.
Join a Ministry Team (Dream Team)
Serving is a natural way to express our love and appreciation to the Lord Jesus who modeled loving service to us through the example of His life and selfless sacrifice on the cross for us. It is also a great way to express our love for others and at the same time get loved back. We encourage you to get connected as soon as possible. Your service will encourage and support others. A Dream Team that fits your unique giftedness is waiting for you at Community Church of the Open Door.
Our small groups meet weekly in Winter, Spring and Fall sessions. We meet (mostly in homes) to connect relationally and grow spiritually. We use a free market approach. What that means is, a small group will emerge when people with the same passion or interest decide to meet weekly to enjoy that common appreciation together – while at the same time centering that activity or study around Christ. If you would like to host a small group, see “HOST a Group” on the Groups page. In groups we form relationships with those who weep with us in the hard times and share joys with us in the good times, but always pray and praise with us in all things. Open Door Groups are for people of all ages and stages of life.
Various Focused Small Groups
This is our Wednesday night environment for Junior High and Senior High students where we learn to follow Christ for a life beyond mere existence. Students are encouraged to prioritize their relationship with Jesus and to influence their friends.
The men host a number of trips and community projects throughout the year. They serve a men’s breakfast at 7:30am the last Saturday of every month, and they periodically get together to eat and plan projects.
The women host many events throughout the year, and they also have several women’s small Groups available.
This ministry provides an environment for building community, faith, and friendship. It also provides a great resource and support for Mothers of Preschoolers and beyond. Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Wed. of each month at 9:30am. MOPS breaks for the summer.
At an Alpha course people explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over eight thought-provoking weekly sessions. It is low-key, friendly and fun! Please join us. Check the Groups page or Events calendar for course dates.

The primary way we reach our world is through strategic missions. OPEN DOOR strategically invests a portion of its resources in missions work in our community and around the world with a focus on unreached people groups, children and church planting.
